Mai-Britt Poulsen is Global Chief of Staff in Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting. Additionally she attended Stern School of Business in New York, and Stockholm School of Economics. After graduation, she jumped head first into her career and has worked her way up the BCG food chain ever since. In 2012, she became the first female partner at the BCG Denmark office. From 2015-2018 she was leading BCG in Denmark, and a core member and client service Partner of the Consumer Strategy practices. In 2018, Mai-Britt was promoted to Global Chief of Staff, and became a member of BCG’s global Executive Committee. In 2019 Mai-Britt became Senior Partner. She holds a number of other leadership roles at BCG, and sits on multiple change initiatives and committees.
Her specialties lie within large-scale end-to-end transformations, TURN programs with the aim to fundamentally change the performance trajectory of clients, digital, strategic growth and organizational enablers.
In 2016 she co-founded Gender Diversity Roundtable Denmark together with UN Women. GDR brings together 15 top leaders from Danish business communities, educational institutions, and organizations to accelerate and improve gender diversity in Denmark.
